Accessibility Statement

How accessible spilnoagency.com.ua is for people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive impairments — and what we’re doing about it.

Spilno Agency is committed to making this website accessible to as wide a range of users as possible. We aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) — the international benchmark for web accessibility. This page honestly shows what’s already done and what’s still in progress.

01Our commitment

We consider accessibility part of product quality, not a separate feature. This matters to people who navigate by keyboard instead of a mouse, rely on a screen reader, need sufficient text contrast, or need more time to interact with a page.

02Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.

2.1. What’s already implemented

  • Colour contrast — brought in line with the 4.5:1 (normal text) and 3:1 (large text, UI components) ratios across the blog (291+ articles), the homepage, the About page, and priority service pages.
  • Keyboard navigation — a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link have been added to these pages to bypass the menu quickly.
  • FAQ blocks — accordions on service pages correctly announce their open/closed state to screen readers.
  • Forms — fields have labels, required fields are marked, and error messages are announced automatically to screen readers.
  • Images — all have descriptive alt text.
  • Semantic structure — pages have correct landmarks (header, main, nav, footer) and a logical heading hierarchy.

2.2. What’s still in progress

  • Some secondary pages and category pages are still awaiting the same contrast and navigation audit.
  • The cookie-consent banner — an updated, higher-contrast design is ready and awaiting publication.
  • PDF documents we provide to clients haven’t yet been tested for screen-reader compatibility.
  • Full manual testing with real screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) is planned but not yet complete for every section of the site.
Why “partially” and not “fully”: the site is large (hundreds of pages), and we deliberately don’t want to claim full conformance until every section has been checked. We update this page as we go.

03Compatibility

We test the site with the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and mobile.

05Technical information

This statement applies to spilnoagency.com.ua. Conformance was assessed through self-evaluation — a combination of automated contrast auditing (calculating contrast ratios against the WCAG standard) and manual keyboard-navigation testing.

We plan to keep updating this statement as our accessibility work continues.
